Listed prices per guest include the cruise time, meal, dessert, and sales tax. Beverages are additional and may be pre-purchased at a discounted rate at the time of your cruise ticket purchase or at regular purchase price during your cruise. Gratuity for onboard staff is not included; please tip your service crew.

Our delicious menu is served buffet-style, but it is not considered “all you can eat.” Though we provide generous serving portions, our buffet cruises leave the dock with specific portion servings per person. Your host or hostess will work to make sure guests receive appropriate portion servings.

No outside food or beverages are allowed on board. We do offer delicious celebration cakes for purchase in advance. Please see “Cruise Enhancements” FAQ below for more information.

We offer several gluten-free menu options on our public cruises. Please note any other dietary requests when you book your reservation online, and a special meal will be provided in exchange for the buffet option.

Our open to the public cruises begin boarding 15 minutes prior to departure and depart promptly. Please plan ahead so you have plenty of time to park and arrive at your cruise departure port. Departure times will not be delayed and boats do not return to port until the end of the cruise.

Dress for the current weather conditions during your cruise time. As a general rule, we recommend casual dress attire, such as casual shorts or pants and golf shirts.

Our cruises depart from three locations: our home port of Mound, Excelsior, or Wayzata Bay. Please double check your cruise information to confirm from which port your cruise is departing. Parking is available onsite at our home port of Mound. For cruises departing from Excelsior or Wayzata Bay, parking is available in nearby public lots.

When you successfully purchase your cruise ticket online through our website, your name is automatically added to our cruise manifest and you are issued a cruise boarding pass via email.

Upon boarding, our crew will check you in using the passenger list of names of those purchased tickets. If needed, the crew may also ask to see and validate your boarding pass.

Once you board, seating is open and on a first come basis. During holidays and some signature events, we will assign seating in our best effort to keep groups together.

Regrettably, none of the yachts in Al and Alma’s fleet are “Handicap Accessible” as determined by state or federal law. The variable water levels and dual decks on each boat require all of our guests to make a few steps up and down to board the boats. Our crew is very accommodating and will work with you to provide access to our yachts.

Please call us for specific details regarding accessibility questions. Please make us aware of any special mobility issues or concerns upon reservations so that our crew is prepared to serve you.

Absolutely! We kindly ask that adults accompany children at all times. Though not required, we do recommend that small children bring a comfortable life jacket to wear during the cruise. Children three and under cruise for free while those four and older cruise at the standard rate.

  • Romance Enhancement Package: Perfect for two guests. Includes half a dozen roses, a bottle of champagne, and two souvenir champagne flutes.

Payment is required at the time of booking and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Changes to reservations can be made for a fee of $10 per ticket, provided they are requested at least 72 hours before your scheduled cruise. No reservation changes can be accommodated within 72 hours of your cruise.

Please double-check your cruise departure port and time listed on your boarding pass to ensure punctual arrival. Boats depart PROMPTLY at the scheduled time. In the event of a missed cruise, you will be considered a no-show, and your ticket(s) will be forfeited with no refunds or rescheduling options available.

Al and Alma’s cruises operate rain or shine. In severe weather, yachts may stay docked for a portion of the event to allow severe weather to pass. Our yachts have full upper deck enclosures for weather protection. No refunds for weather-related conditions.
